The Old Post Office House
The Old Post Office House, with its distinctive red door, directly opposite the ancient St Serf’s church, was once the post office for the quaint village of Dunning, Perthshire. Now a delightful house available for short or longer lets, you can make this your base to explore the Perthshire countryside and enjoy its attractions, including hiking, fishing, golf and tennis. We are a 15 minute drive from both Perth and Gleneagles, and an hour to Edinburgh and Glasgow. The house sleeps 4-6, has self-catering facilities, is newly furnished, smartly appointed and under a minute’s walk to the award-winning Kirkstyle Inn (with a large and varied menu) and well-stocked local shop. Parking on the doorstep, dogs welcome.

The House
You walk through The Old Post Office House’s solid bright red door into a welcoming entrance way with space for your coats, boots and kit. Into a cosy, carpeted lounge with a super sofa (a sofa bed for up to two more guests) then through to see the kitchen and up the stairs to the bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and the second bedroom has two singles that can be zip-linked together. Both bedrooms look out through large windows to the ancient St Serf’s church. Between the two bedrooms off the landing is the bathroom with a spacious shower, a sink and toilet.
